On March 28, 2025, a powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar, reducing towns to rubble and leaving families without shelter, food, or medical aid. Schools, hospitals, and homes collapsed within minutes, triggering panic and desperation across the region.

In response, Myanmar's military has declared a temporary ceasefire in affected areas to allow humanitarian assistance. Yet, many communities remain cut off due to ongoing conflicts, blocked roads, and logistical barriers. Time is critical. Every hour matters in saving lives and delivering relief.

 

🌾 Our Emergency Response

At Shelter & Seed Initiative, we are mobilizing to:

  • Distribute emergency medical kits (basic medicines, gauze, disinfectant).

  • Provide dry food, clean water, and blankets to displaced families.

  • Transport supplies into hard-to-reach areas amid conflict zones.

  • Train local residents in basic first aid and disaster response.
