Shelter & Seed Initiative Donation Policy

We are deeply grateful for your support. Shelter & Seed Initiative (“SSI”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) strives to ensure transparency and trust in all donations made through our website or associated campaigns.

  1. Use of Donations

Donations are used to support our mission to protect and uplift displaced individuals and vulnerable communities. Funds are allocated based on project needs, operational efficiency, and impact priorities. Unless otherwise specified, donations are considered unrestricted and will be used where the need is greatest.

  1. Tax-Deductibility

Shelter & Seed Initiative is a nonprofit organization recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donors will receive an acknowledgment email or receipt suitable for tax reporting.

  1. Refund Policy

All donations are final and non-refundable. However, if you made a donation in error or believe there was unauthorized use of your payment method, please contact us within 14 days of the transaction. Refund requests can be submitted to:

  1. Payment Security

We use secure third-party payment processors to ensure your payment and personal information are protected. SSI does not store full credit card details on our servers.

  1. Recurring Donations

If you opt in for monthly or recurring donations, you authorize SSI to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis. You can cancel your recurring donation at any time by contacting us or following instructions provided in your donation confirmation email.

  1. Donor Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or trade donor information under any circumstances.
